Ohio Workers' Compensation System and COVID-19 Updates

Workers’ compensation can be a major operating expense for Ohio employers and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has added financial uncertainty and stress for many of Ohio’s employers. There are numerous programs and services available to help employers lessen the financial impact of the costs associated with providing workers’ compensation protections for both their company and their employees and the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has taken steps to help employers during these unprecedented times. This continuing education program will focus on what an insurance agent needs to know in order to be a resource for their clients.
Topic discussions will include the structure of Ohio’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) system, workers’ comp discount and rebate programs and the steps put in place to help Ohio employers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
