Benefits of Membership

When you join your local chapter, you will have many opportunities for networking with your peers and attending seminars that offer continuing education credit. In addition, you will receive all the benefits of membership at the state level, through OAHU, and at the national level, through the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).

About OAHU

OAHU exists as a resource to the local Ohio Chapters in the areas of communication, legislative advocacy, membership, leadership and position training, and shared programs. OAHU has two lobbyists who keep our members abreast of developments in state legislation year round and you will have the opportunity to participate at the state level when you attend our annual Day at the Statehouse in Columbus where you will visit with state legislators. You will also have the opportunity to participate with OAHU at NAHU's annual Capitol Conference in Washington, D.C., where you will visit with legislators on Capitol Hill.

Another benefit of membership in the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters is free membership in Best Benefits Club, an Ohio-based perks program that offers discounts on amusement park tickets, hotels, cars, cell phone services, special events, and much more in Ohio and across the U.S.
